After a terrible experience on a group safari at Chitwan National Park, Nepal (think: 20 elephants, 4 people per elephant, surrounding & shouting at a mama rhino & baby), I hired a jeep for a full-day of wildlife watching. After 8 hours in the open back of a truck, being rained on and freezing in the 12C weather, I got to come face-to-face with the Indian Greater one-horned Rhinoceros. Perhaps a little too close...
