I'm in Southeast Asia Backpacker Magazine!

A couple months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Nikki, the gal behind Southeast Asia Backpacker magazine, during her visit to Singapore. You can find the magazine at backpacker hotspots across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and now they've expanded distribution to Malaysia and Singapore.

So what better way to kick-off the magazine's arrival in Singapore than a feature on the city?

It's no secret that Singapore is an expensive city, but backpackers who've gotten used to super-cheap travel may be blown away when they discover their daily budget of $20 in Cambodia barely covers a dorm bed in Singapore!

Check out Issue 12 for my 5-page article on how to survive Singapore on a budget. It covers everything from Singapore's backpacker neighborhoods (Little India, Chinatown, Bugis to tasty hawker center food to the cheapest way to get to Kuala Lumpur.
I'd scan the article, but there's already a perfect digital copy online at http://issuu.com/southeastasiabackpacker/docs/issue_12.

Boat Quay...  and my by-line!

If you like what you see keep an eye out for Issue 13 of Southeast Backpacker Magazine coming out in July. My contribution this time around  is a pretty tricky Southeast Asia themed crossword puzzle, but what I really want is a cover!

  5. Having friend with girls that you like is so much easier due
to the emergence of several social networking sites.
Video chatting allows you to see facial expressions and physically see each
other and your surroundings. Those who are looking to chat on the phone for this type of line should make sure that
they know how to go about continuing to talk to the person on the other end.

  6. Fascinating blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my
blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your theme.
